This is a repeat breeding of Rider and Raisin. Puppies from the first litter have proven to be excellent field dogs as well as wonderful companions. Two from that litter have earned their MH titles, and one has become QAA, all accomplished before turning 3yo!!
Rider is a dog who comes with a very unique pedigree, with three FC AFC's in the first two generations! At 2yo, Rider won a 56 dog Amateur stake at the 2020 GRCA Nat'l Specialty and continues to train for upper level field trials. His pro trainer describes him as:
"Smart, likeable, talented, and one of my favorite dogs around the kennel. He has a fun personality and is easy around the airing yards and truck." Kaye Fuller, Rider's owner, had this to say about him:
"He is stylish, wants to please, runs straight and is compliant on blinds. Rider is a strong marker with a nice temperament!"
Rider is also an Outstanding Sire, passing on his field talent to numerous offspring.
Raisin has exceeded my wildest expectations. My original goal was to get a Master Hunter title on her, and when she did that very quickly, I decided to try the Field Trial game. From getting a 3rd place finish in her first try, to now becoming QA2 in our second year, she has definitely "raised the bar"! She not only has an intense desire for field work, she also has a wonderful, goofy personality that keeps me smiling. She is very intelligent and picks up on things quickly in training. Raisin easily passed her CCA, which is an evaluation of her structure, showing she is an all around representation of what the Golden is intended to be. With all that, Raisin is an Outstanding Dam, having produced offspring with QAA and MH field titles, as well as agility titles!
My goal as a breeder is to improve the breed with each litter I produce. Raisin has definitely helped me reach this goal!
